NOTE:  This exact information comes from a Xerox copy of a typewritten page in possession of my parents.  I entered it 7/23/2001 exactly as it is printed on the page.  I believe the information came from Josiah Samuel Allen to his nephew (my Grandfather) A. E. Strain. I know there are possible typographical errors, such as Lawry for Lowry. James Allen Strain, Great grandson of Naomi Allen.
